Online Imperial Rome and Steam Greenlight update
April 19, 2013 The Imperium Romanum Expletus map has been seeing increased online play lately. Now there's online Biohazard variants of the big Rome maps up as well. Rome fans, come play online against other human centurions!

Steam is the largest digital distribution network and store for PC games (they support Mac and Linux now too). Their service is quite excellent, with many games at great prices. They use a player-voting system to decide which games they add, called greenlight. Getting greenlight would mean many more players in Lux, and a wider spread!
Lux needs your help! Please vote for Lux Delux in the steam greenlight system. Click on the "Yes" button with the thumbs-up (you'll need a steam account), and share with your friends.

The 9th annual Luxtoberfest tournament and celebration is nearly here!
September 17, 2012 Luxtoberfest is the yearly festival celebrating the world domination computer game Lux Delux.
2012 is promising another action-packed festival. October will be filled with multi-player tournaments, forum games, and the yearly Lux Awards.

Luxtober will also include the official launch of the RAW 2.0 rankings system on Saturday, September 29th. The improved formula has been developed by stats junkie paranoiarodeo and factors in a wider set of variables, including average game times for various maps and settings, how many kills you make, and how well you play all week long (not just on Sunday). Also, bot games will be scored differently, and the finish line for medals will be moved on a regular basis, so players across the globe will have more opportunities to compete. Come throw your Lux hat into the ring this October and see how high you rank in the new system!
